How can I be sure the ashes are my pet’s?
With an individual cremation, your pet is the only one in the chamber. A numbered metal tag stays with them from collection to urn, and the number is on the certificate. You are welcome to be there when they are placed in the chamber.
How long does it take?
Ashes from an individual cremation are ready within 3 working days, most often the next day. We will ring you when they are ready.
I don’t know how much my pet weighs. What should I say?
Give us a rough idea or tell us the breed. We weigh your pet at collection and confirm the exact price before we begin. If they fall into a lower band, you pay less.
How do I pay?
By cash or card, at collection or in the farewell room. We can issue an invoice on request.
Can I scatter or bury the ashes?
Yes. The ashes are sterile and you can scatter or bury them in your own garden. For public places, please check the local council’s rules. The biodegradable urn is made for planting with a small tree.
Are there any other charges?
No. You pay for the cremation by weight, for collection if you need it, and for any keepsakes you choose. We don’t add an “urgent” charge during the day.
