Documents
What you will need
Most of the paperwork is handled by the doctor, the registrar and us. Here is what to have ready.
If something is missing, please do not worry. We will tell you where to get it, or request it on your behalf.
The cremation application is signed by the next of kin. We complete it with you.
- Medical certificate of cause of deathIssued by the doctor or hospital, usually sent straight to the registrar.
- Death certificateFrom the registrar when you register the death. Copies are useful for banks.
- Certificate for cremationAlso issued by the registrar. Please pass it to us as soon as you have it.
- Photo ID of the applicantFor the family member who signs the agreement.
- Cremation application: we prepare itWe fill it in with you and arrange the medical forms.

How long does the whole process take?
Usually between 5 and 10 working days from the first call to the return of the urn. Registration and the crematorium's schedule take the most time. We confirm the exact date as soon as we can.
Can the family be present?
Yes. The Family package includes a private farewell of up to 30 minutes, and With ceremony includes a service of up to 60 minutes. The cremation itself takes place without the family present.
What if the person died in another town?
We can arrange a transfer from anywhere in the country. Beyond 20 miles there is a charge of €1.50 per mile, written into the agreement before we begin.
When and how do we pay?
30% when you sign the agreement and the rest when you receive the urn, by bank transfer or card. You receive an invoice for the full amount.
What can we do with the ashes?
The urn can be placed in a niche or a grave, kept at home, or the ashes can be scattered where it is permitted. We are happy to help with any of these.
